Privacy Policy

When you register or subscribe, we collect personal information that can identify you ("personal data"), such as your name, email address, telephone number and, where you provide it, a mailing address. We may also collect information when you contact us or take part in community features, chats, profiles, comments or surveys.

The information we collect depends on how you use the Services. In particular:

• Account data — name, email address and login details used to create and manage your membership.
• Sign-in data — if you use Sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the email and name those providers share with us, plus a provider user id used to recognise you on the next login.
• Membership and payment data — website payments are handled by Stripe. App subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google. We receive confirmation that a purchase succeeded, a transaction or subscription identifier, product id and renewal status. We never store full card details on our servers.
• Health and fitness information — if you complete a profile, nutrition form or similar, we may collect information a trainer needs to design a fitness or nutrition plan. That information is associated with your account.
• Activity data — workouts you complete, streaks, progress and community posts you choose to create.
• Trainer information — if you register as a trainer, we collect information about your qualifications for delivering fitness and nutrition guidance.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. See section 11 for age limits.

Some community features let you interact with us and other Members. Information you submit there, including your name or a photo, may be visible to other users. We are not responsible for information you choose to make public. Exercise caution before posting contact details or other personal information.

Log data. When you use the website, our servers may record information your browser sends, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring site and the date and time of your visit.

Device data. When you use the iOS or Android App we may collect app version, device type or operating system, and a push-notification token so we can send workout reminders you opt into. Apple and Google also process information needed to deliver the App and to administer App Store or Google Play purchases under their own privacy policies.

Cookies and similar technologies. Like many websites, we use cookies and similar tools to operate the site, understand usage and improve the Services. A session cookie is usually deleted when you leave the site. A persistent cookie remains until it expires or you delete it. You can instruct your browser to refuse cookies or to prompt you before accepting one. If you block cookies, some features may not work fully.

We may also use pixels or similar technologies in emails, to the extent permitted by law, to understand whether a message was opened or a link was clicked.

Do Not Track. The website does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

Third-party content. The Services may display third-party content, buttons or links (for example a share button). Those third parties may collect information according to their own policies. We do not control third-party websites or apps linked from the Services.

If you connect a third-party account to Willpower Club Online, we may receive limited account information needed to provide that feature. Current examples include:

• Apple — Sign in with Apple identifiers, and App Store subscription status for purchases made on iOS.
• Google — Google sign-in identifiers, and Google Play subscription status for purchases made on Android.
• Stripe — customer, subscription, invoice and payment-status information for website purchases.

We may use additional service providers to host the Services, send email, deliver push notifications (including Expo, Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging) and analyse how the Services are used. Those providers process personal data only to provide their services to us.

If we add further connected services, we will only access the information needed to provide the feature you requested, or where we have another lawful basis to do so.

We use personal data to:

• create and manage your account and deliver the Services you requested;
• process payments and manage subscriptions, including App Store, Google Play and website purchases;
• personalise training, recovery, nutrition and community features;
• send service emails such as welcome messages, receipts and important account notices;
• send push notifications you opt into, such as a daily workout reminder;
• notify you about products, services or offers where we have a lawful basis to do so;
• improve features, content and performance;
• measure usage in aggregate;
• prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents; and
• comply with law and enforce our terms.

We may provide advertisers or other third parties with aggregate, non-identifying information about usage. We do not sell your personal data.

Where UK GDPR applies, we process your data on the following bases:

• Contract — to create your account, provide membership and deliver the Services.
• Legitimate interests — to improve the Services, keep them secure and prevent abuse, in ways that do not override your rights.
• Consent — for optional marketing communications and optional push notifications. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal obligation — where we must keep records for tax, accounting or other legal reasons.
• Special category data — fitness or health information you choose to give us is used only to provide the fitness or nutrition service you requested, on the basis of your explicit consent or another condition permitted by UK GDPR.

Except as described in this policy, or if we tell you otherwise at the time of collection, we will not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing.

We share information as follows:

• Service providers — companies that host the Services, process payments (Stripe, Apple, Google), send email, deliver push notifications, or otherwise help us operate the App, each under contractual duties to protect your data.
• Trainers and coaches — if you take part in coaching features, trainers may see information needed to deliver that service. Do not put information in a profile that you wish to keep entirely confidential.
• Business partners — only where you choose to take part in a partner offer and we need to pass information to fulfil it.
• Legal and safety — if required by law, court order or regulator, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Willpower Club, our users or others.
• Corporate transactions — in connection with a sale, merger, reorganisation or similar event, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Apple processes Apple Account and App Store purchase information under Apple's privacy policy. Google processes Google account and Google Play purchase information under Google's privacy policy. We do not receive your full card number from either store.

Some processors operate outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and/or EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business purposes such as maintaining performance, making product decisions, complying with law and resolving disputes.

We keep account, workout and related service data while you are a user. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise personal data so it no longer identifies you, usually within 30 days, unless we are legally allowed or required to retain it — for example an unresolved claim, tax or accounting records, or fraud-prevention records.

Stripe, Apple and Google may retain billing records under their own legal obligations. See our account deletion page for more detail.

If you have an account, you can review and update much of your personal information in the account or profile area of the App or website. You can also contact us at info@thewillpowerclub.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and you may have the right to data portability.

To exercise these rights, contact info@thewillpowerclub.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority.

The Services are intended primarily for adults. You must normally be at least 18 to independently create an account and purchase a subscription.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Children under 18 should not use the Services without a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has provided data in breach of this policy, contact us and we will delete it.

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, theft and unauthorised use, disclosure or modification. No system is perfectly secure. We are not responsible for a breach of security or for the actions of third parties that receive information except where the law says otherwise.

Your password protects your account. Use a unique and strong password, limit access to your device and browser, and log out after using a shared device.

If you reside in California and have provided us with personal information, you may request information about our disclosures of certain categories of personal information (if any) to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Email info@thewillpowerclub.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. This request may be made no more than once per calendar year.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. If we make a material change to how we use your personal data, we will provide notice where required by law.
